Software development using Java, JUnit, Spring, Hibernate, Log4j, and other libraries using Agile processes (Scrum or Kanban). Tooling including Netbeans, Maven, Git, and Jira. * Working knowledge of current Software Development Tools and Databases, such as but not limited to Java, C++, .Net, etc. * Organizational skills including attention to details and multitasking skills. * Experience and ability to relate technical issues to management and Government personnel. * Critical thinking/analytical skills, creativity, and a proven drive for quality. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The mid-level Java Developer must have at least three years of experience with the technologies (may have less with the tools). The candidate must successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation. Additional (Desired) Qualifications: Smart card programming experience is highly desired. Experience with the SoapUI and Quartz Task Scheduler tools would be helpful. Experience with .NET programming would also be helpful. Work Location: Primary location of work will be Remote with option to work at Falls Church, VA as appropriate.
