## About the Role

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * 10+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

 * Deep, hands-on AWS expertise, with direct experience operating in AWS GovCloud (US).
 * Production experience running Kubernetes and/or EKS at scale.
 * Proven GitOps delivery with ArgoCD.
 * Strong CI/CD pipeline ownership in GitLab.
 * Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and Terraform) and scripting

(Bash, Python or similar).

 * Must be a U.S. Person.
 * Able to work from McLean, VA.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, ITAR, CMMC)

and regulated cloud environments.

 * AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Professional).
 * Background supporting government or public-sector clients.

## Description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate secure, highly

available cloud infrastructure supporting government and regulated workloads. You will own the

CI/CD and GitOps pipelines, harden Kubernetes platforms, and serve as the technical authority

for cloud reliability and deployment automation across the team.

Key Responsibilities

 * Architect, deploy, and operate production workloads on AWS, including AWS GovCloud

(US) environments with their associated compliance and access constraints.

 * Build and manage Kubernetes platforms, including Amazon EKS - cluster provisioning,

scaling, networking, RBAC, and upgrades.

 * Own GitOps-based continuous delivery using ArgoCD, including application sync

strategies, rollout/rollback, and drift detection.

 * Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab (runners, pipeline-as-code, artifact and

container registry management, security scanning gates).

 * Implement Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation and Terraform for repeatable,

auditable provisioning across environments.

 * Establish observability, alerting, and incident response practices to meet uptime and

reliability targets.

 * Embed security and compliance controls into the delivery pipeline (secrets management
