The work spans production-grade software development, customer-facing problem solving, and ownership of complex technical surfaces. If you are excited about going deep on infrastructure and want a real founding seat at a profitable Series A company growing 8x year over year, this is the role. What You'll Own * Write production-grade software that powers Porter's platform across cloud infrastructure surfaces * Own end-to-end development lifecycle, from architectural design through production deployment * Debug at the deepest levels: shell into virtual machines, dig through log files, find root causes * Read through open-source repositories to debug third-party dependencies * Collaborate with the team on anything that touches users' infrastructure and provide meaningful feedback * Work in 2-week project cycles with full autonomy to propose and drive your own work * Talk to customers directly via Slack and bring product intuition to infrastructure decisions ## Related Videos - [The Software Bug All Stars - and what we can learn from them](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/423-the-software-bug-all-stars-and-what-we-can-learn-from-them) - [Understanding Kubernetes in a visual way](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100085-understanding-kubernetes-in-a-visual-way) - [Green Cloud Computing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/592-green-cloud-computing) - [My journey into DevOps world - How it all started!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/545-my-journey-into-devops-world-how-it-all-started) - [Logs in observability - Correlation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1430-logs-in-observability-correlation) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [How to Answer the Interview Question: “Why Do You Want to Be a Software Engineer?”](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/392-how-to-answer-the-interview-question-why-do-you-want-to-be-a-software-engineer) - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Is Software Engineering Hard?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/448-is-software-engineering-hard) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers)
