## About the Role

* BS in Computer Science or bachelor's degree with professional web development experience
 * Implementation experience in at least two of the following: C/C++, C#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript
 * Experience with SQL and general database knowledge
 * Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure)
 * Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar version control systems

Preferred but not essential

 * MS in Computer Science
 * IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS experience
 * Understanding of back-end database design
 * Understanding of object-relational mapping abstractions

Individual must possess authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

## Description

HTRI seeks an individual to develop, maintain, and enhance HTRI engineering software, including the user interfaces, via a number of different technologies. This position is located at our Navasota, Texas headquarters.

Principal responsibilities

 * Write web applications to interface with new or existing databases using C#, Python, SQL, and JavaScript
 * Develop front-end/back-end applications interfacing Web APIs
 * Work collaboratively with team members to resolve bugs in existing codebases
 * Configure local development environments and deploy changes to production
 * Document software implementation details using diagrams and coding logic flowcharts
 * Test bug fixes and requirement implementations
 * Gain understanding of product architectures and constituent technologies
