## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, The Passaic County Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a highly motivated, Records Support Tech 1 to perform tasks that include but are not limited: to preparing bi-weekly payroll; tracking and reporting employee time, attendance, and overtime; maintaining employee files; and conducting various pre-employment functions. The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), have excellent organizational skills, and strong verbal and written skills. Candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish). This is a union, civil service, position offering a pension and a comprehensive benefits package. A New Jersey residency is required; county resident is preferred. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm; 35-hour work week. The County of Passaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma/GED. Postsecondary education is a plus.

Experience: Clerical work in an office setting. Payroll experience is preferred.

Note: Candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish). The application deadline is June 30, 2026.
