Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment with CalSTRS. ## Description The CalSTRS Enterprise IT Solutions and Innovation Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Information Technology Specialist I on the Data Services & Reporting Team. The Enterprise IT Solutions and Innovation Division provides solutions development and related support services aimed at delivering and optimizing the CalSTRS enterprise-wide, technology-based solutions to the business. This division works in collaboration with the Project Management, Infrastructure and Operations, Enterprise IT Governance and CalSTRS business areas in the delivery of quality solutions that meet or exceed the business needs of CalSTRS. This division manages and provides oversight to Solution Services, START Solutions Development and Web Solutions Development Units. Under direction of the Data Services & Reporting Supervisor, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) will act as the Data Analytics Specialist and perform various data analytics design and development, production support, troubleshooting, and other hands-on data delivery tasks. The Data Analytics Specialist develops solutions to implement business intelligence use cases to engage, collaborate, and deliver data analytic assignments and production support to add business value to users and members. The incumbent will develop business intelligence and data warehouse solutions by leveraging cloud managed services for deployment to the CalSTRS Analytic Platform., Interested individuals must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in addition to the standard state application (form STD 678). Your SOQ will be considered the first interview for this position. If your qualifications are competitive, you will be invited to an interview.
