This person does not need to be a full-stack developer, but they should be very strong with Excel, VBA, macros, data transformation, and flat file generation., * Strong Microsoft Excel development experience. * Advanced VBA/macros experience. * Experience creating custom Excel ribbon buttons, toolbar actions, or user-triggered automation. * Experience converting Excel workbook data into flat files, CSV, TXT, or other structured output formats. * Strong understanding of workbook structures, multiple tabs, named ranges, formulas, and data validation. * Ability to consolidate data from multiple Excel tabs into a single file. * Experience working with header/detail file structures. * Strong data formatting and validation skills, including fixed-length fields, leading zeros, and required field lengths. * Ability to work independently from notes, business conversations, and limited formal documentation. * Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users.
