Do you have experience in Software engineering?, * At least 5 years of experience as a Director of Software Engineering, preferably in a comparably complex organisation delivering technology products and services

 * Experience in a senior role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in development and implementation of software solutions
 * Proven leadership capability - both developing leadership within your team and demonstrating leadership among peers
 * Expertise with Agile, SCRUM and other industry-standard frameworks - implementation and execution
 * Experience with the following technologies: Cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure), Microsoft 365, virtual telephony, monitoring and alerting tools, business systems (CRM, Sales/Marketing tools, Billing, Accounting, Finance, HR, etc.)
 * Ability to coach and mentor technical managers, leaders, and developers
 * Strong leadership, listening, interpersonal and organisational skills
 * Ability to verify and define requirements for projects and requests
 * Ability to properly assess and articulate risk
 * Excellent customer-service orientation
 * Capable of meeting deadlines with a focus on results and value creation

## Description

* Lead multiple software engineering teams on various SaaS-based applications spanning multiple technology stacks
 * Drive the adoption and standardisation of software development tools and processes
 * Develop a culture which empowers high employee engagement and cohesive, collaborative teams across domains and locations
 * Effectively inspire and influence teams and partners in delivering technology-enabled business solutions with high availability and reliability
 * Drive innovation while utilising emerging technologies and make recommendations on the strategic use of technology to improve the consumer experience
 * Work closely with other technology and infrastructure teams to foster an environment of the right tools and practices for application development
 * Continuously monitor and improve on practices to drive optimal efficiency and speed of innovation
 * Define technology standards, architectures, and strategic directions to optimise security, stability, and scalability of the R&D software development lifecycle
