## About the Role

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, We're seeking a detail-oriented Epic Report Writer to architect solutions for extracts from Epic, supporting clinical, operational, and financial decision-making across a number of hospital organizations. This role provides consulting to hospital leadership with regard to Epic extracts feeding downstream reporting., * Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

 * 2+ years of experience building extracts in Epic
 * Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
 * Working knowledge of Clarity and/or Caboodle data models
 * Demonstrated experience supporting or leading data integration efforts between Epic and external platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, third-party analytics tools) such as knowledge of custom Chronicles extracts and INI + Item Numbers
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent communication skills for working with non-technical stakeholders

## Description

* Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy extracts using Epic reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, SlicerDicer, BI tools such as Cogito/Clarity, Caboodle)
 * Write and optimize SQL queries against Clarity/Caboodle databases
 * Gather requirements from clinical and operational stakeholders and translate them into functional extract specifications
 * Validate extract accuracy through testing and data validation against source systems
 * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing extracts
 * Document extract logic, data definitions, and build specifications
 * Maintain and update extracts in response to workflow, regulatory, or system changes
 * Provide training and support to end users
 * Collaborate with Epic application teams, analysts, IT staff and Hospital Operations on data and reporting initiatives
