* Ten (10) years of progressive systems administration experience, preferably in a federal government environment.
 * Experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
 * Advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution skills for complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruptions.

## Description

* Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related concerns, offering advanced troubleshooting for complex technical issues, including system outages, performance degradation, and security incidents.
 * Assist with server operating systems, virtual environments, enterprise applications, and specialized IT tasks such as networking, scripting, system integration, and architecture recommendations for hardware and software products.
 * Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware.
 * Administer day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms.
 * Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems.
 * Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms.
 * Performs infrastructure platform maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained.
 * May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of infrastructure hardware and software products.

Required: Degree

 * Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
