## About the Role

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Engineer (GCP) to join their team. As a Data Engineer (GCP), you will be part of the Global Risk & Compliance Technology (GRCT) supporting innovative data solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization., + Hands-on experience with GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Functions.

 + Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and manipulation.

 + Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.

 + Understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.

 + Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and standard processes.

## Description

+ Evaluate data requirements and develop stories to support business needs.

 + Build and optimize data pipelines and database designs for performance, scalability, and security.

 + Collaborate in design reviews, testing, and provide support in production environments.

 + Operate data assets according to established standards, guidelines, and policies.

 + Implement Big Data solutions such as partitioning and indexing to meet requirements.
