Do you have experience in System performance optimization?, We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support a major federal data modernization initiative. This role blends backend engineering, cloud automation, and data pipeline optimization in a high-impact environment., * 4-6 years of software engineering experience

 * Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Python (PySpark)
 * Hands-on experience with AWS serverless and data services
 * Strong SQL skills and Postgres performance tuning
 * Experience with Spark, Docker, and environment management
 * Must be a US Citizen and able to work hybrid in Reston, VA

## Description

* Develop and maintain backend services using JavaScript, Node.js, and Node-Red
 * Build and optimize cloud-based data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, RDS, EventBridge, Step Functions
 * Implement distributed data processing with Spark and Python (PySpark)
 * Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including partitioning and indexing
 * Containerize and deploy applications using Docker
 * Manage virtual environments and ensure consistent deployment workflows
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions
