This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical design work, problem-solving, and managing multiple project responsibilities while collaborating with clients, builders, vendors, and internal staff., * Experience with AutoCAD

 * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
 * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Problem-solving mindset
 * Ability to read construction drawings and plans
 * Reliable transportation

Preferred

 * Engineering, drafting, design, or construction-related background
 * Experience in fire protection, MEP, construction, or building systems design
 * Familiarity with permitting, plan review, or construction documentation
 * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, drafting, construction management, or related field

## Description

* Create and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD-based design software
 * Assist with fire protection system layout and design documentation
 * Review project plans, architectural drawings, and specifications
 * Coordinate with builders, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams
 * Prepare submittal packages, design documentation, and project-related paperwork
 * Support project scheduling and design revisions
 * Ensure drawings and documentation meet project requirements and applicable standards
 * Maintain organized project files and records
 * Communicate with clients and project stakeholders regarding design updates
 * Assist with field coordination and project support as needed
