## About the Role

* BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or related) with 5+ years of software engineering experience, or AS in Computer Science/Engineering (or related) with 7+ years of experience
 * 5+ years of hands-on experience building services or applications using a high-level language such as Go, Python, Java, or C# (C/C++ acceptable if recent service-building experience is demonstrated)
 * Experience with modern engineering practices including coding standards, pull request/code review, source control, and build/test/operations workflows
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to own deliverables with minimal guidance
 * Agile experience working in iterative development cycles
 * Work authorization to work in the United States (remote role)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

 * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
 * Familiarity with open-source technologies
 * Experience with data-heavy systems (databases, analytics/BI, big data, or data warehousing)
 * Experience with distributed systems focused on performance, availability, and scalability
 * Healthcare software exposure

## Description

* Build and maintain cloud-based backend services and microservices that power analytics and clinical data use cases
 * Turn product and technical requirements into production code in a modern programming language
 * Collaborate with PM/PO/architect partners to deliver features and improvements that meet reliability and scale goals
 * Participate in Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and operational support
 * Diagnose and resolve complex production issues using root-cause analysis across application, data, and system layers
 * Contribute to architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers by leading project components
