## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience as a Data Center Engineer
 - Experience with Racking, Stacking Cabling
 - Experience with low voltage cabling
 - Knowledge of data copper (Cat5/5E/6) and fiber optic cabling standards.
 - Experience with CISCO network equipment (switches, routers)

Understanding of A/B power and network redundancy concepts

## Description

* Rack, stack, and cable Cisco network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls) and UCS Systems in a data center environment
 - Install and label copper and fiber cabling according to data center standards
 - Perform hardware turn-ups, including power-on, port verification, and basic connectivity testing
 - Follow detailed network diagrams, rack elevations, and installation documentation
 - Assist with equipment moves, adds, and changes (MACs)
 - Maintain accurate cable management, labeling, and documentation
 - Coordinate with Network Engineers and Data Center Engineers during installs and upgrades
 - Troubleshoot basic physical-layer issues (power, cabling, link lights)
