## About the Role

* Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
 * Must be a US Citizen
 * This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to Database Engineering / Administration:

o Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience

o Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of experience

o Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of experience

o Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of experience

 * Minimum of High School Diploma
 * Experience with Oracle Database Administration experience to include experience with Oracle data replication technologies.
 * Experience implementing and maintaining database security.
 * Experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.
 * Experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems/issues.
 * Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
 * Experience with procedural languages, for example: PL/SQL.
 * Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system database and Oracle Streams replication issues.
 * Modify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues.
 * Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.
 * Perform system updates and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patching.
 * Recommend design and implementation practices that optimize the performance of GOTS/COTS databases and applications.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

 * Experience with Oracle Grid/RAC in a Linux environment.
 * Experience with Mongo.
 * Experience with real time highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, Sybase Replication Server.
 * Experience with MySQL.
 * Experience with Cassandra.
