## About the Role

* Professional experience writing content, including working with a style guide.
 * A passion and understanding of health and wellness products is strongly preferred.
 * An understanding of and respect for SEO principles is preferred, but not required.
 * Experience with a CMS, particularly WordPress, is preferred.
 * Curiosity is critical. Wanting to write is not enough. You'll need to be passionately curious about our subject matter and business, what makes us succeed, and how we plan to get there through our content. That curiosity and knowledge will serve you well in your career, whether as a project manager or a writer/editor. We promise.
 * You must have the ability to juggle changing responsibilities throughout the month and even week, and ideally have project management experience (executive volunteering or leading school project teams would be acceptable).
 * You need to have experience taking direction graciously, as well as working independently. Experience working remotely is helpful.
 * You need significant attention to detail, as you will be touching pages that are critical to the business and QAing to make sure your work is to spec.

## Description

Reporting to the Managing Editor, the Performance Writer will:

 * Implement content updates in our CMS
 * Manage revenue-based optimizations on key product roundups
 * Collaborate closely with the performance and/or managing editor on content publishing workflows, approvals, and performance.
 * Use a Notion board and Google Docs to track priorities and progress on content updates.
 * Juggle varying priorities and projects that are critical to the company's bottom line., * Openness to feedback and collaboration: You'll be working closely with folks across different teams, so you'll need to be open to the process and accept feedback and critique.
 * Strong communication skills: You'll have the ability to build relationships with external stakeholders, report up to internal stakeholders, and foster strong alignment with your team.
