Strong expertise in LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switch installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency with Aruba, HP, and Cisco switches, including CLI-based configuration (VLAN, STP, LACP, trunk/access ports, port security, etc.). Ability to perform switch provisioning, firmware upgrades, and advanced configuration tasks via command line interfaces (SSH/console). Experience working with fiber cabling, including terminating, connecting, and troubleshooting fiber links between switches and patch panels (LC/SC connectors, SFP/SFP+ modules). Experience with network firewalls and basic routing concepts. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques. Knowledge of IDF installation, structured cabling standards, labeling, and cable-management best practices. Understanding of network security principles, including 802.1X, NAC, and access control policies. Ability to work with SSO technologies (Okta) and multi-factor authentication (2FA) solutions. Strong documentation skills for network topology, patching, fiber mapping, and switch configurations. Resourceful, with strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 5+ years of relevant network administration experience.
