This individual contributor role serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives and key stakeholders across the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, Basketball Africa League, international regions, and corporate functions. The role partners across the organization to assess privacy and data governance requirements, identify and evaluate risks, and advise stakeholders on practical approaches to responsible data use. The position helps the NBA innovate responsibly by advising stakeholders on privacy, data governance, responsible use of artificial intelligence, and emerging technology requirements while supporting fan trust, regulatory compliance, and data-driven business objectives. The role requires strong business judgment, influence without authority, and the ability to translate complex privacy considerations into clear, actionable guidance.
