## Description

The person provides general administrative support to the Information Technology Department., * Functions as initial phone or e-mail contact person for first level corrective action involving computer workstation hardware problems.

 * Responsible for tracking and documenting issues and their solutions.
 * Conducts routine daily computer operations.
 * Performs computer backups.
 * Performs a variety of clerical and secretarial duties.
 * Composes routine correspondence, maintains office supplies, compiles data for routine reports, answers telephone calls and makes appointments.
 * Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials; prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary.
 * Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review.
 * Performs related duties as required.
