## About the Role

Do you have experience in macOS administration?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field and 1+ year of relevant experience, or 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience

 * Experience in a helpdesk or ticket-based support environment
 * Working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu operating systems
 * Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 administration
 * Experience with Microsoft Intune or a similar device management platform preferred
 * Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
 * Familiarity with NIST 800-171 and CMMC frameworks preferred but not required
 * Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a technical environment

## Description

The IT Helpdesk Technician will provide first-level support across macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu systems while assisting with user administration, device setup, Microsoft 365 support, and IT security best practices., * Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner

 * Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, software, connectivity, and user access issues
 * Support macOS, Windows 10, and Ubuntu desktops and laptops
 * Assist users with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Office apps, and licensing
 * Support engineering/development software issues, including licensing
 * Manage user accounts, permissions, and group memberships in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
 * Assist with onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and equipment setup
 * Support Windows Server environments and shared resources as needed
 * Assist with device compliance, policy enforcement, and application management through Microsoft Intune or similar MDM/MAM platforms
 * Maintain documentation of common issues, procedures, and resolutions
 * Partner with IT security staff to follow internal security protocols and support compliance efforts
 * Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical staff when appropriate
 * Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical updates, maintenance, or business continuity needs
