Certifications: Industry certifications (Cisco Certified Network Professional, Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert, Certified Information Systems Security Professional etc.) preferred Type of Experience: * Information technology, network and security administration. * Experience with IT network and security engineering. * Must have significant experience designing and supporting local area and wide area networks, advanced understanding and experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), site-to-site VPNs, ACLs, Layer 2 technologies, diagramming, documenting, and project planning. * Experience with content delivery technologies (F5). * Experience debugging complex system issues in production environments, determining root causes, and implementing solutions to recover functionality of systems in a timely manner Additional Skills and Abilities: Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as facilitator and team member. Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication and documentation skills required, with a demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are also essential. Must be self-starting and willing and able to work independently in a dynamic corporate organization under pressure of tight deadlines and aggressive expectations. Self-motivated, problem solving skills and the ability to influence others without direct authority. Good attitude, communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of ISO Markets required. Participates in planning, developing, testing, implementation and support of technical solutions for company-wide data and voice communications. Works with vendors and service providers to ensure stability and reliability of company's critical voice and data infrastructure. Engages with company-wide business units to provide network design solutions for business requirements.
