Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Reasoning Ability - Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. ## Description All offers of employment by Milwaukee Valve Company, LLC. are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, blood test, physical capabilities test, and background check, all with acceptable results. Applicants are responsible scheduling and completing the required drug screen, blood test, and physical capabilities test within 7 calendar days of offer acceptance., * Work independently and efficiently in assigned areas. * Read and interpret blueprints/drawings. * Use measuring equipment pertinent to assigned areas. * Able to use Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (PdS only). * Able to perform first and last piece inspections (PdS only). * Knowledge and use of ERP system, MVWorks, Microsoft Office and gage tracking software. * Knowledge and use of KwikTag and other office software, as assigned. * Report Non-conformances and document. * Conduct Tollgate Inspection at Machines and In-Process Inspections. * Retrieve and dispense gages at Gage Room window (PdS only). * Knowledge of calibration of measuring equipment. * Knowledge of product and part numbers. * Maintain cleanliness of work area in a prescribed manner. * Monitor own work to ensure quality. * Good communication and problem solving skills. * Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. * Complete projects in a team environment. * Look for ways to improve efficiency of inspection methods. * Share knowledge with others to promote excellent quality practices.
