Candidates must have strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills. ## Description The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking an IT Applications Developer - MMIS to play a key role in developing and supporting the mainframe systems that power critical Medicaid services. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented developer with COBOL expertise who enjoys solving complex production issues, enhancing system performance, and contributing to large-scale development efforts in a structured mainframe environment. If you bring experience with COBOL, DB2, CICS, and SQL-and want your work to support healthcare access for thousands of Nebraskans-this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This is a full-time/permanent on-site role in Lincoln, Nebraska.
