Military communications, signal, network infrastructure, telecommunications, and field services experience are highly desirable., * Secret security clearance required. * U.S. Citizenship required. * One of the following education and experience combinations: + Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related experience; or + Associate Degree and 7+ years of related experience; or + 9+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree. * Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting network infrastructure, telecommunications systems, cable installations, or communications equipment deployments. * Experience installing and troubleshooting copper and fiber optic communications systems. * Experience with networking equipment from manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Dell, HP, or similar platforms. * Experience supporting structured cabling, equipment installations, and network infrastructure deployments. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, installation diagrams, and equipment documentation. Desired Qualifications * Military Signal Corps, Communications, Network Infrastructure, Information Technology, or Telecommunications experience. * Experience supporting Department of Defense or government communications environments. * Experience with multimode and single-mode fiber tracing, testing, and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with UPS systems, CRAC units, and data center infrastructure. * Experience maintaining inventory systems and technical asset records. * Ability to utilize Visio, CAD, or similar technical drawing applications. * Familiarity with network operations centers (NOCs), laboratory environments, and communications testing facilities. * Active TS/SCI clearance highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * Excellent organizational and documentation skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in active equipment rooms, telecommunications spaces, laboratories, and field environments. * Ability to travel extensively in support of customer requirements., * Active Secret Clearance Required * Ability to maintain eligibility for access to classified systems, facilities, and information ## Description Ataero is seeking a Telecommunications Mechanic II (Network Installer) to support WOLF communications, network infrastructure, and systems integration efforts.
