## About the Role

Do you have experience in Technical support via phone?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Experience in software development or technology support

 * Experience working in a fast-paced environment
 * Ease and comfort working with virtual tools - video, phone and chat
 * Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
 * Successful completion of the H&R Block Technical Support knowledge assessment
 * Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
 * High school diploma / equivalent or higher

It would be even better if you also had…

 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, accounting or related field
 * Experience completing complex returns
 * Experience conducting virtual interviews
 * Technical support experience

## Description

* Conduct tech support assistance via face to face and through virtual tools - video, phone, chat, email
 * Prepare technical reports on data security and risk analysis
 * Maintain technology upgrades and provide recommendations on new software and tools to increase client retention as well as meet office goals
 * Provide both staff and clients with support on IRS tools as well as other tax tools
 * Mentor and support teammates in use of all office programs
 * Provide office staff with trainings monthly on new applications and software
 * Maintain maintenance logs including but not limited to the annual WISP
