We are building systems for ingestion, transformation, lineage, data catalogs and visualization. Most companies cobble together data pipelines from Fivetran, Airbyte, Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, DataBricks, Kafka and a host of other technologies. Rippling is in the unique position of being the source of the vast majority of this data, hence we can provide an all encompassing solution out of the box. In addition, we are exploring the use of ML and LLMs to provide automated insight generation and conversational experiences to allow data consumers to have a virtual data scientist as their analytics copilot. What You'll Do: * Develop high-quality software with attention to detail using tech stacks like Python, Apache Trino, Iceberg, Temporal. * Create Data visualization and query processing products used at large scale. * Create data platforms, data lakes, and data ingestion systems that work at scale * Have clear ownership of one or many products, APIs or platform spaces * Build and grow your engineering skills in different challenging areas and solve hard technical problems * Influence architecture, technology selections, and trends of the whole company ## Related Videos - [From Messy Queries to Scalable Systems - How Data Engineering actually works](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100203-from-messy-queries-to-scalable-systems-how-data-engineering-actually-works) - [Modern Data Architectures need Software Engineering](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1030-modern-data-architectures-need-software-engineering) - [From event streaming to event sourcing 101](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/91-from-event-streaming-to-event-sourcing-101) - [Enjoying SQL data pipelines with dbt](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/823-enjoying-sql-data-pipelines-with-dbt) - [AI Model Management Life Circles: ML Ops For Generative AI Models From Research to Deployment](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1152-ai-model-management-life-circles-ml-ops-for-generative-ai-models-from-research-to-deployment) - [Introducing JSON Structure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100219-introducing-json-structure) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Making Data Warehouses Fast: A Developer’s Story](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/107-making-data-warehouses-fast-a-developer-s-story) - [Top Big Data Technologies That You Need to Know](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/108-top-big-data-technologies-that-you-need-to-know) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Résumé-Driven Development: How IT trends affect the job market for software developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/59-resume-driven-development-how-it-trends-affect-the-job-market-for-software-developers)
