## Description

Data Modeler responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise data models and semantic structures that enable consistent, scalable, and governed analytics across SMBC's transformation program.
This role ensures that product KPIs, value stream metrics, and business data entities are modeled accurately to support Power BI, AI/ML, and enterprise reporting ecosystems.
Must Have skills :
. Enterprise Data Modeling & Design

 * Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to transformation needs

 * Define enterprise data domains, entities, relationships, and hierarchies

 * Ensure alignment with product/value stream-based operating model________________________________________

 2. KPI & Semantic Model Alignment
 * Translate business requirements into data models supporting KPIs and metrics

 * Align models with standardized metric definitions and reporting logic

 * Support semantic layer design used by Power BI and analytics tools

 3. Data Integration & Platform Alignment
 * Design models for integration with:

o Enterprise data warehouses (SQL / cloud platforms)
o Analytical data layers

 * Collaborate with Data Engineers to:

o Ensure data availability, consistency, and transformation logic
o Support ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers

 4. Data Standardization & Governance
 * Define and enforce:

o Standardized data definitions and naming conventions
o Data lineage and traceability across systems

 * Ensure alignment with enterprise governance and control frameworks

 * Maintain single version of truth for reporting datasets ________________________________________

 5. Performance & Optimization
 * Optimize data models for:

o Reporting performance (Power BI / dashboards)
o Query efficiency and scalability

 * Support efficient use of:

o Aggregations, partitions, and indexing strategies
