Preferred: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar degree, or have acquired equivalent experience (4+ years) Certification(s) related to Networking, Security or other Infrastructure preferred. ## Description Install and support the organization's local & wide area networks both wired and wireless. Monitor and maintain firewalls. Monitor network and security logs and work within the team to correct any issues found. Work within the team to identify and make changes related to network infrastructure and security. Provision Internet access and establish VPNs. Responsible for the performance, maintenance, security, installation, upgrade of LAN/WAN. Maintain physical wiring closets. Maintain current & accurate device inventory. Work within the team to ensure high availability of LAN and WAN. Ability to troubleshoot and correct simple to moderately complex infrastructure issues. Ability to maintain and troubleshoot simple to moderately complex issues related to VOIP. Participates in DR planning, testing, and implementation. Works with other IS team members to ensure that servers & network infrastructure are installed in the data centers according to established standards.
