Do you have experience in T-SQL?, * 6+ years of SQL Server administration and development experience.

 * 3+ years of PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
 * Strong expertise in T-SQL, SQL Server performance tuning, database security, backup/recovery, and production support.
 * Experience with Azure SQL, Windows Server, Git, and DevOps practices preferred.

## Description

We are seeking a SQL Engineer with 6+ years of experience to serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all SQL Server and PowerShell-related projects for our federal government client. This role will lead database administration, performance optimization, automation, and infrastructure scripting initiatives while supporting enterprise-level database environments.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled SQL and PowerShell professional who can independently lead projects, automate processes, optimize database performance, and serve as the organization's go-to technical expert., * Act as the SME and lead for SQL Server and PowerShell projects.

 * Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases and T-SQL code.
 * Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
 * Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts for database and infrastructure operations.
 * Support database migrations, upgrades, security, and high-availability solutions.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership., * Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)
 * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
 * Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
 * Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
 * ITIL Foundation and/or CompTIA Security+
