May be able to perform outside local area if access to government site, * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.

 * Minimum 10 years supporting DoD aviation, EO/IR, sensor, or countermeasure systems.
 * Experience supporting NAVAIR, Naval Aviation, or military aviation programs.
 * Active Secret clearance required.
 * Military operational aviation experience highly desirable.

## Description

Ataero is seeking a Senior Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Systems Engineer to support PMA-272 Airborne Electronic Attack Systems. The selected candidate will provide engineering expertise supporting the development, integration, testing, sustainment, and modernization of EO/IR sensing and countermeasure capabilities across Naval Aviation platforms., * Provide technical support for EO/IR systems, sensors, targeting systems, and infrared countermeasure capabilities.

 * Support requirements development, system integration, engineering analysis, and technical risk assessments.
 * Participate in system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
 * Evaluate system performance, deficiencies, and modernization initiatives.
 * Support developmental and operational test activities.
 * Prepare engineering analyses, technical reports, and acquisition documentation.
