Specific knowledge of AWS is a plus * Be aware of security best practices to ensure the appropriate protection of data and resources * Ability to take business requirements and translate them into technology solutions * Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to create a structured project plan and prioritize tasks according to business requirements * High attention to detail * Night and weekend availability to assist stores with troubleshooting, menu launches, and software deployments, * Are you authorized to work in the United States? * Are you located in Columbus, Ohio or within driving distance of Columbus, Ohio? * Are you able to work in the office at our Piada Support Center in Columbus, Ohio during the work week in person? ## Description The Senior Software Engineer role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Piada's company sites, internal analytics dashboard, and point-of-sale systems with the goal of enhancing our technical infrastructure to better serve our guests and teams, as well as mentoring and teaching other Software Engineers on the team. This role is also responsible for maintaining menu management systems, managing third-party applications, assisting stores with point-of-sale issues, and partnering with internal teams to use technology to solve business problems. You will also be a point of contact for guests seeking help with online orders, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other inquiries or concerns they may have. The ideal candidate for this role will embody and demonstrate Piada's core values, have a passion for development, mentoring, strategizing, and guest experience, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with various cross-functional teams within the organization. You are comfortable moving between code, data, vendors, store technology, and guest-facing systems while keeping business impact and service quality at the center of your work. In this position, you will use your technical expertise to tackle real-world business challenges and steer the software solutions that are deployed in our technology stack.
