This position partners closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions, while driving automation and system integration initiatives with limited supervision. The position will be based in our Houston, Texas office located at 12031 Kurland Dr, Houston, TX 77034 and will report to Dashiell's IT Manager Duties & Responsibilities Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions: * Design, develop, test, and maintain internal applications supporting engineering, construction, and project management teams. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations staff to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and propose technical solutions. * Translate business requirements into technical designs and actionable development tasks; independently own solution design decisions within scope of assigned systems. * Write, review, and optimize code using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and improve quality. * Own enhancements and bug fixes for existing systems such as project tracking, job costing, and resource planning platforms. * Design and implement automation solutions to streamline reporting, scheduling, and data management processes. * Build and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms, including ERP, project management, and field data systems. * Troubleshoot and resolve application and data issues with limited supervision; escalate complex system issues as appropriate. * Create and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, data flows, and process improvement records. * Contribute to development standards and best practices across the IT team. * Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested. * Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.
