Physical Demands: The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, sit for extended periods of time, and lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, fingers, with the ability to feel and reach with hands and arms will also be required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary, Monday through Friday, according to business needs. Occasional evenings and weekend work will be required as job duties demand. Travel: Occasional travel to manufacturing locations, customer sites, or industry events may be required. Required Education and Experience: * 1-3 years experience with regulatory compliance, environmental reporting and/or data analysis. * Knowledge of Excel or spreadsheet skills, including managing complex datasets. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred. * Familiarity with flexible packaging materials and basic packaging concepts preferred ## Description The Sustainability Support Specialist supports company-wide sustainability initiatives through environmental data management, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement activities. This position is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing environmental and packaging data to support compliance requirements, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting, and sustainability certifications.
