This role enables improved efficiency, scalability, and productivity across the organization by ensuring technology investments support current and future business and clinical objectives. The Principal Enterprise Architect leads the analysis of the current IT environment to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities, and defines target-state architectures, reference models, standards, patterns, and roadmaps that guide enterprise transformation. This role evaluates system interactions, dependencies, total cost of ownership, and return on investment to inform architectural decisions and technology direction. With a primary focus on Clinical Systems, and supporting other enterprise initiatives as capacity allows, the Principal Enterprise Architect collaborates across application, domain, solution, infrastructure, and security architecture teams to deliver balanced, enterprise-wide architectural outcomes.
