At Evident, we're looking for a full stack engineer who can own a feature from database to UI - someone who gets uncomfortable when they can't see the whole picture, and who uses AI tooling to close gaps fast when they do. You don't need to be a master of everything. But you should be the kind of engineer who follows the problem wherever it goes, is honest about where they need to grow, and is energized by a team that'll push you to get there faster. The role will be based in our office in Atlanta (hybrid work model with two days in the office and three days remote)., * Build complete features end-to-end: APIs, business logic, data models, and the interfaces that users actually touch. * Move fluidly between backend services (Java, Python) and modern frontend work without needing a handoff to unblock yourself. * Ship features you can point to - visible, real, in production. AI-native development as a core skill * Use AI coding assistants and LLM-powered workflows as a genuine part of how you build - across the stack, across the lifecycle. * Lean on AI to accelerate the parts of the stack that are less familiar: generate a solid starting point, validate your approach, and iterate from there. * Develop one of the most marketable engineering skillsets available right now - with the team and the mandate to go deep on it. Hard problems in a meaningful domain * Work at the intersection of identity, trust, and compliance - problems with real stakes and technical depth. * Design and build systems where correctness matters: data integrity, verification workflows, and integrations with external providers. * Contribute to architecture discussions with a practical point of view, and grow your instincts by working alongside engineers who've seen these patterns before. Continuous growth * Pair with senior engineers who are invested in your development, not just your output * Participate actively in code reviews and design conversations - your perspective matters here. * Build fluency across the stack in a production environment, with real feedback loops. ## Related Videos - [Kubernetes and Microservices with Multi-Model Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/382-kubernetes-and-microservices-with-multi-model-databases) - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) - [Fault Tolerance and Consistency at Scale: Harnessing the Power of Distributed SQL Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1146-fault-tolerance-and-consistency-at-scale-harnessing-the-power-of-distributed-sql-databases) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [7 Most Popular Web Developer Jobs in Europe](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/163-7-most-popular-web-developer-jobs-in-europe) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers)
