Remote support is permitted as a result of the COVID pandemic, but remote work may be rescinded by the customer. * Must be able to report for work M-F, 5 days a week. Alternative flex schedule allowed within normal work hours (i.e., between the hours of 7 am - 6 pm). * Must be able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance. The CLIENT / AGENCY USPC is a very, fast paced, and multi-organizational agency. The agency has special classification and pay authorities and does not follow the standard OPM pay authorities. The HR function for the agency is a lean organization with high priorities. Suitable candidates must be able to work at an optimal level in support of achieving the goals of the organization. Candidates also need to be flexible in their approach and style to learn the agency's hiring authorities. ## Description AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage a Java Developer to provide support to the AG client on site at the Department of Justice (DOJ), Executive Office for United States Attorneys, supporting multiple software development and maintenance projects simultaneously in an Agile development environment. The Java Developer analyzes functional requirements, develops and unit tests Java code that implements the requirements, provides status updates in scrum meetings, and documents the completion of requirements in Jira.
