Substitution(s): College education in engineering, drafting, construction management, or a related curriculum may be substituted for up to four (4) years of the experience on a year-for-year basis. Completion of a vocational program in engineering, drafting, construction management, or related field may substitute for one (1) year of the experience. A certificate of high school equivalence (GED) will be accepted in lieu of the twelfth grade requirement. Such documents may include a photocopy or scan of your driver's license, bachelor's/master's degree or transcript of completed coursework. ## Description This Engineering Associate III is in the Division of Water (DOW), Distribution Engineering, Plan Review Group. Under general direction of a professional engineer or surveyor, is responsible for serving as a subject matter specialist performing advanced-level paraprofessional engineering work; performs related duties as required. This person will be responsible for reviewing plans, specifications, and drawings via Bluebeam review sessions for DOW Right of Way plans and CC plans; prepare, distribute and coordinate plan routing, and DocuSign signing sessions for DOW WSP plans; review plans, permits, and easements for compliance with scope of work or department requirements, or other guiding factors complying with city codes. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am-4:00 pm. Examples of Work (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all of the duties that may be performed.)
