SRE/Cloud Engineers are responsible for creating infrastructure designs and guiding the development and implementation of cloud applications, systems, and processes. You will help build cutting-edge proof-of-concepts and collaborate with other engineering teams during implementation. The ideal candidate will need to be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technical field required. Minimum Experience * Minimum 2 years of professional experience managing, monitoring, and improving large-scale and highly available cloud-based platforms. * Minimum 2 years of hands-on Python experience. * Hands-on experience in a cloud environment is required. * Must be available for occasional weekend or non-business hour activity involvement related to Infrastructure release, maintenance and patching as needed on a rotational basis. * Experience in configuration, provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting distributed and containerized environments in AWS preferred. * Experience in serverless architecture including Lambda and Containerization. * Experience in building custom templates leveraging AWS CFT preferred. * Experience in building pipelines with CI/CD tools. * Background in Linux/Unix and Windows administration. * Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC. ## Description This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position.
