Preferred Skills: * VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V administration experience. * Intune experience for endpoint/server management (where applicable). * PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tooling. * Experience with monitoring platforms and log analysis (tool-agnostic; ability to tune alerts and dashboards). * Experience supporting firewall operations and segmentation workflows (in partnership with network/security teams). Success Measures (Examples) * Improved infrastructure availability and reduced incident duration through better coverage, faster triage, and stronger operational hygiene. * Consistent on-time patching/upgrade execution aligned to change windows and compliance requirements. * Validated backups and restore tests with documented results and remediation of gaps. * Progress and throughput on infrastructure modernization initiatives (e.g., Windows Server upgrades, SQL HA/DR enablement). * High-quality documentation/runbooks that reduce time-to-recover and simplify cross-coverage. ## Description We are looking for a proactive and skilled Infrastructure Administrator to ensure the reliability and security of our on-premises and hybrid infrastructure. The ideal candidate will focus on measurable outcomes in areas such as availability, change success rates, and incident response. This role involves shared ownership of core infrastructure platforms, including virtualization, storage, firewalls, and server lifecycle management.
