Join us and be part of a team where your voice matters, your work makes an impact, and your growth is a shared priority., The Senior Field Technician - Critical Infrastructure is a highly skilled, hands-on field professional supporting hyperscale and colocation data center construction projects ranging from 40 MW to 200 MW. This role is responsible for executing complex installation, testing, and startup activities while serving as a technical leader on site. The Senior Field Technician works under the direction of the Field Lead and Site Superintendent and may provide day-to-day guidance to junior technicians. The Senior Field Technician is expected to operate independently within assigned tasks, troubleshoot issues in real time, and elevate risks or constraints early to support safe, efficient project execution., Field Execution & Technical Leadership (45%) * Perform advanced installation, checkout, and testing activities across assigned scopes. * Execute work involving panels, devices, controls wiring, low-voltage systems, and associated infrastructure. * Troubleshoot installation and functional issues independently and implement corrective actions. * Serve as technical lead for small crews of technicians as assigned. * Support onboarding and mentoring of junior and apprentice technicians. Coordination & Daily Execution (25%) * Coordinate daily work activities with the Field Lead and other trade partners. * Support sequencing and task planning to maintain workflow efficiency. * Communicate work status, issues, and constraints clearly to field leadership. * Assist with material staging, tool readiness, and work area organization. Safety & Quality Compliance (20%) * Execute work in compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, STC safety policies, and project-specific requirements. * Participate in daily toolbox talks and pre-task planning. * Verify work quality against drawings, specifications, and approved standards. * Identify unsafe conditions or quality issues and immediately escalate to field leadership. Documentation & Closeout Support (10%) * Assist with redlines, punchlists, and task completion documentation. * Support testing documentation and issue tracking as directed. * Provide input to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.
