 * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks, Redshift, S3)
 * Knowledge of database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
 * Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M or equivalent)
 * Experience in data quality, governance, and metadata management
 * Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
 * Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and analytical skills
 * Knowledge of federal security and compliance standards (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP)
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills

## Description

The Senior Data Warehouse Specialist / ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data pipelines, data warehouses, and data integration solutions to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across large-scale systems. This position supports an upcoming project with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This role ensures high-quality, secure, and performant data processing aligned with federal standards, data governance policies, and industry best practices., * Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration from multiple source systems

 * Build and enhance data warehouses, data marts, and analytics platforms
 * Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading to ensure data quality and accuracy
 * Optimize SQL queries, ETL jobs, and data processing performance
 * Support data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and metadata management
 * Develop and maintain data integration workflows and automation processes
 * Conduct data profiling, validation, and testing (unit, integration, performance, data quality)
 * Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, business analysts, and QA teams
 * Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes/enhancements
 * Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP)
 * Contribute to documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer activities
 * Provide technical leadership and enforce best practices
