 * 2-5 years of field experience, trade school, or apprenticeship
 * OSHA 10 certification

## Description

Position Summary: The Telecom Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of telecommunication systems and associated processes., * Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites

 * Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
 * Installs cable supports, through floor and wall sleeves, fire stopping materials
 * Install relays, cabinets, network switches
 * Terminates data, voice, coaxial, control, and fiber optic cables
 * Install cable trays above and below floors
 * Ability to work in small spaces
 * Test cables to TIA/EIA level II standards with cable analyzer and fiber test equipment, * Ability to work independently or as part of a team
 * Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
 * Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
 * Participate in site housekeeping
 * Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
 * Perform additional duties as directed by Management
 * At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
