## About the Role

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field is required.

Experience: 5 or more years of hands-on, relevant software development experience is required. The candidate must be proactive and able to work independently.

Technical Skills:

 * Experience with Embedded Linux, specifically Yocto Linux.
 * Proficiency with serial communication protocols, including UART, SPI, and I2C.
 * Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with Bluetooth.
 * Experience with embedded RTOS.
 * Familiarity with ModBus and CANBus protocols.
 * Experience with bare-metal development.
 * Similar domain experience.

## Description

* Engage in hands-on development, physically working with machines and sensors in a lab environment to test cycles and functionality.
 * Develop code, support architectures, document designs, and create Proofs of Concept for dispensing and IoT equipment systems.
 * Work cross-functionally with other development teams and stakeholders to document system requirements.
 * Integrate software with hardware developed by other internal divisions.
 * Participate in an Agile/SCRUM software development process.
