## About the Role

Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture.

 * Strong expertise in AWS cloud services.
 * Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg, Amazon EMR, and Amazon Aurora.
 * Deep understanding of Data Lakes, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse architectures.
 * Expertise in SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark.
 * Experience with AWS S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, IAM, Lambda, and Step Functions.
 * Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and performance optimization.
 * Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
 * Knowledge of streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.
 * AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics Specialty).

Education

 * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design and lead enterprise-scale cloud data platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data lakes, data warehouses, cloud-native architectures, governance, and modern data technologies including Apache Iceberg, EMR, and Aurora., * Design scalable and secure data architectures on AWS.

 * Define enterprise data models, standards, and best practices.
 * Architect data lake and data warehouse solutions using AWS services.
 * Lead implementation of Apache Iceberg-based lakehouse architectures.
 * Design high-performance data processing solutions using Amazon EMR.
 * Architect transactional and analytical solutions leveraging Amazon Aurora.
 * Establish data governance, security, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
 * Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and solution architects.
 * Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across projects.
