## About the Role

* Proficiency in Java
 * Experience with Spring Boot and building RESTful web services
 * Experience using Git for source control
 * Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools
 * Understanding of microservices architecture
 * Exposure to observability platforms (Datadog, Splunk, ELK, etc.)
 * Knowledge of event-driven systems and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
 * Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI
 * Understanding of API Gateways and OAuth concepts

Preferred Skills:

 * Hands on experience with AWS cloud architecture and development using AWS resources like S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc
 * Building Spring apps utilizing both SQL and NoSQL Databases (Mongo, DynamoDB, SQL Server, Postgres, etc..)

Nice to Have:

 * Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
 * Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
 * JavaScript
 * Python
