Preferred Qualifications * Previous technical support, help desk, hardware support, IT support, or customer service experience preferred but not required. * Experience with POS systems, payment terminals, or payment processing is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. * Spanish or Arabic language skills are a plus, but not required. * Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle is a plus, but not required. ## Description We are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as a Hardware Operations & Technical Support Technician. This is a hands-on role that combines hardware management, terminal deployment, technical support, inventory tracking, shipping, and merchant assistance. Why Join Simpay Tech? Schedule * Full-time position * 5 days per week * 8-hour shifts * 30-minute unpaid lunch break included within each shift * Occasional overtime may be available based on business needs * Some weekend availability may be requested when needed ResponsibilitiesHardware Operations & Inventory Management * Track and manage company hardware inventory. * Maintain records of terminal locations, serial numbers, and assignments. * Ensure equipment is properly returned, accounted for, and redeployed. * Use company software to manage inventory and hardware tracking. Terminal Programming & Deployment * Program and configure payment terminals and POS equipment. * Prepare terminals for deployment to merchants. * Package, ship, receive, and organize equipment. * Coordinate equipment replacements, upgrades, and exchanges. Technical Support * Answer technical support calls from merchants. * Troubleshoot payment terminal and POS hardware issues. * Assist with terminal repairs and maintenance. * Work closely with management to resolve merchant concerns. * Provide professional customer service and support. Merchant Deliveries & Equipment Drop-Offs * Deliver and drop off equipment to local merchants when needed. * Most work is performed in the office, with occasional field visits. * Average of approximately 5-10 drop-offs per week, though some weeks may have fewer. * Most deliveries currently utilize public transportation. * Employees who choose to use their personal vehicle for approved company deliveries may be eligible for additional compensation or mileage reimbursement.
