## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant technical field AND a minimum of 1 year relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
 * Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
 * Demonstrated advanced knowledge in one or more of the following technical areas:
 + Systems Integration,
 + System Safety
 + System Requirements
 + System Security
 * Must be team-orientated, posses a positive attitude and work well with others Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, * Master's Degree in an Engineering field
 * Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
 * Demonstrated passion for and involvement in the aviation community
 * Operational knowledge of Garmin or competitive avionics (e.g pilot's certificate with instrument rating)
 * Experience with Avionics certification standards and guidance such as ARP 4754B or 4761A

## Description

* Define and maintain system requirements, system architectures, and technical documentation for avionics systems and functions
 * Plan and execute integration testing to verify system requirements and validate functionality against customer expectations
 * Troubleshoot complex bench and simulator issues to identify root cause and suggest corrective action
 * Clearly communicate issues observed during testing and recommend solutions to engineering teams
 * Demonstrates broad understanding of Garmin's aviation products and services, including customer experience across market segments
 * Proactively improve systems integration and test processes, procedures, and tools
 * Exemplify Garmin's Mission, Vision, Values, and Quality Policy and proactively work to improve Garmin's image and culture
