 * 10 years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
 * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
 * An additional 5 years of SA experience may be substituted for a degree
 * Must have one IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)

## Description

The System Administrator Level 2 provides operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for enterprise IT systems across UNIX, Windows, network, storage, and client environments. This role is responsible for daily system operations, Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem resolution, configuration management, performance optimization, and maintaining the reliability of mission critical systems., * Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems across server, network, storage, and endpoint devices

 * Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 escalation support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
 * Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems and provide assistance to end users
 * Perform day to day monitoring, operations, and problem resolution for client/server and networked devices
 * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, dispatch system, and system integrity issues
 * Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install OS software, and maintain reliable system configurations
 * Implement OS and system enhancements to improve performance and reliability
 * Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform capacity planning
 * Provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated issues to management and internal customers
 * Participate in troubleshooting activities involving multiple IT components and environments
