Ex. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server Integration Services, Apache Nifi, etc. * Leveraging Cloud-based architectures (Azure \\ Snowflake) * Strong understanding and hands-on experience writing performant SQL in SQL Server * Experience in data analytics, building business intelligence dashboards * In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring) * Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications * Strong background in PowerBI with experience in extracting data, modeling, creating visualizations, and scheduling data refreshes * Experience in PowerBI Desktop to create visualizations using Tables Charts, Maps, Calculated columns, measures, including Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) * Familiarity working with SQL and Python * Excellent analytical and organization skills * An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, * BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field * Minimum 2 years of experience designing and programming Microsoft SQL Server database applications. * Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio * Demonstrated expertise in building and modifying SQL queries. * Must be able to maintain and obtain a Government Security Clearance ## Description We are looking for a qualified Data Engineer to design and build reliable, efficient, and compliant data pipelines and architectures, according to our company's needs. You will be responsible for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining new and existing processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures, and metadata. As part of our IT team, you will work closely with developers to ensure system consistency. You will also collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements.
